Re: V3.0.2 Dreamer USB connect problems

Disregard everything I said. After posting I updated Flashprint and the Dreamer firmware and now I'm in the same boat, can't transfer at all, no amount of reboot or reset helps.

Re: V3.0.2 Dreamer USB connect problems

I have had issues with this for almost a year of using the Dreamer and Simplify3d. It has been improved but still intermittent. It always worked the first time turning on the printer and sending a file from Simplify3d. It is the 2nd attempt that has been a problem. Following has worked: In Simp3d ex...

Re: Filling in Holes that are not supposed to be filled.

Hello, Looks like you have support turned off. I would try turning on support, and reducing the support pillar resolution down to 1.00 mm. This should make the 8 small holes in the vertical plate have easily removable support material with a drill or needlenose pliers or xacto knife. It will not put...

Re: Trials and tribulations of ABS

Hello, This may not apply in your case, but with ABS I have tried to orient the object on the such that the X and Y extents are minimal even if it means more support, maybe a lot more support. Slows down the print but at least it can finish without warping. A heated bed doesn't do much once you get ...

Re: Nozzles digging in even after levelling.

Hello, Looks like your machine uses the terminology of leveling the bed to also mean setting the z height. I have always used the paper to set the z height and it works fine. If the height seems too low, judged by how flat the first layer is, just allow a little less drag on the paper when adjusting...

Re: Circles, Faceted Faces

Hello, Maybe your source stl file is too coarse, i.e. not enough triangles to in the mesh to make it look smooth. All stl objects are really just a combination of flat triangle planes, if there are enough of them the object will appear smooth, too few and you get the flat surfaces you describe. Open...

Re: Tolerance adjustments - yippee

Hello,

Trying to understand the new feature. Let's say have a simple cube with a hole in the center running top to bottom. Then scale down the x-y planes by 1%. Would this basically shave off only the outside of the sides (not the top/bottom), leaving the hole the same size?

Thanks

Re: blobs

Also on the advanced tab, ooze control, try turning off "only retract over open spaces."
