Re: Single extrusions print slow and noisy

This issue still persists. Can this please be looked into? For example, our Ultimaker 2+ extended slows down on most single extrusions due to this problem. If I go through the G-code like by line, I can see that the segment length on the (external) single extrusion is around 0.1mm long, which is ver...

Re: 4.1 No gcode created. Total print time 0

Which profile?
I've also tired using the Default profile and it's the same problem.

What can I try to fix this?

Re: 4.1 No gcode created. Total print time 0

Thanks for the 3mf file.

It opens the model, but doesn't add any process.
If I manually assign a process, it's the same problem. Only the supports show.

Re: 4.1 No gcode created. Total print time 0

Thanks for your reply. I cannot give you this file since it's from a customer, but I've attached another file with the same problem. (all files have the same problem, even if I create a new project in the new 4.1 version). To be clear, all my files which have this problem, open perfectly fine if I o...

Re: 4.1 No gcode created. Total print time 0

Update:
If I enable supports, some gcode is created, but it ONLY creates the supports!

4.1 No gcode created. Total print time 0

Hello,

I installed the new version 4.1 and when generating the gcode, nothing is created. Total print time is 0.
My objects are selected, and there is no 'start or stop printing at height' defined.

I reinstalled it to see if that would fix the problem, but still nothing.

Any ideas?

Re: Supports and brim are being generated outside volume!

Thanks for your reply.
That was not the problem though.

I managed to fix it with these steps:
- Export supports
- Delete all supports
- Import supports onto the same object

I guess something strange happened when I was placing supports. There were quite a lot and my pc got laggy while doing so.

Supports and brim are being generated outside volume!

Hello everyone,

Help!
What is this?!
Image
How can I fix this issue? I haven't placed any support structures outside there.

Thanks in advance

retraction units vs coasting units

The settings: "Extra restart distance" and "coasting distance" have respectively "mm raw filament" and "xy travel mm" as unit. Why? I'm trying to set up the thing to coast a certain amount of mm's, and let the extra restart distance do exactly the same amount ...

Early retraction instead of coasting

Hello, Instead of a coasting move, would it be possible to add a feature that lets you define how many mm's in advance (before a printing move happens), the retraction needs to take place? I assume this would work a lot better than coasting because it would cut off the flow rate immediately in a pre...
