5 doesn't have check boxes to hide what you don't want to print

Does anyone know how to get the check boxes back in 5.1.1 or 5.1.2?
I always load all my pieces into a factory file and just put on the bed what I want to print.
5.1.2 is trying to print ALL the files, not just the ones on the bed but I cannot hide them anymore like I could with 4?
This is 4 with check boxes. 5 has none and gives warning and I cannot hide the ones I don't want to print?

In the V4 software, the checkboxes didn't change what was printed at all. It was just a visual toggle, but the part would still be printed. So if you have 10 parts positioned off the bed like in your screenshot, it would have caused big problems with V4 as well.

If you want to change what parts are printed, just double-click on your process and click the "Select Models" button in the bottom left. Any models that aren't selected won't be printed.

Jason, although Iforbes was wrong, we really need a way just to hide some models we currently not working on in the V5. Its crusial for working with bigger projects. Your software was awesome and is an awesome tool, but a little checkbox would do a lot

Yup, it's a good suggestion! We would just want to make sure people know it's for visibility only and doesn't affect slicing. Maybe there's a way to offer an option for both...

The feature to hide/show models has been requested since the release of V5.0. I have tried several times to point out that it is an absolute must have and it is a pity that the check marks are no longer available. Many people have already stated that this feature is absolutely necessary. Nothing has happened so far. Therefore, your statement is a bit funny Jason, I'm sorry.

Can you tell us why the feature was removed? What is the reason? And why is it not simply implemented again?

This is a different feature than what the author of this post requested. The OP asked for a way to change which models are sliced. This didn't exist in V4 or V5. If users would like to see this feature added, it would be a great one to request in the Feature Request section of our forum.

If you only want to change the visibility of the models, then we already have another feature request tracking that, so you can vote for it here:
