I print with a Cubex Duo and Kisslicer/CubeItMod. I have purchased S3D and would really like it to work with the Cubex but have failed so far. I'm starting a new thread in the hopes it will get bumped since I'm out of options.
Here is a partial listing of things I have tried...basically CubeItMod refuses to run on a gcode output file from S3D, returning the error "Can't Find Materials Info in Print File. (Kisslicer Comments must be turned ON!)".
-Read the manual and website in detail.
-Read every forum listing containing the search term "Cubex" or "Cubify".
-Installed the Cubex.fff file found in one of the posts.
-Changed S3D output file extension from gcode to bfb
-Changed comment character from # to ; in S3D Firmware configuration from another post.
-turned off startup command in S3D firmware configuration
-tried various tweaks to process settings
-reverted back to original process settings
-compared Kisslicer output (with and without CubeItMod) and S3D output files to try and tell what it is missing.
I'm not experienced enough in gcode construction to try much else and am hoping someone out there has already invented this wheel. If not, I've got a extra S3D license that I'd be willing to transfer to someone since it's not going to do me much good.
Thanks in advance
Kevin
