Will the XYZ Da Vinci PRO be added onto the next rev update?

For now you can save the gcode; load it into the xyzware program; and upload to your printer.
Just add this to the beginning of your start script in S3D.
Using this method, I have found that 50mm/s printing and 60mm/travel is a good compromise.
I also set the filament multiplier to 90%.
All other settings can be take from the XYZ program (ex, 6mm retract).

Does anyone have a config that works that can send me(fff file)? I set it up last night and exported the gcode file. When I try and open it in XYZWare it crashes.

I've started working on transfering the settings from DaVinci Pro software, but some of them seem to have no match in S3D. So I'm not sure how well it will work. Maybe Geoff Sim can post his config file for ABS/PLA. That would give us a start.

After much searching and tweaking I finally got Simplify3d gcode into XYZWare and printed!
I have been printing with with Pro that last few days using this program I found on github: https://github.com/alexander-pick/Simpl ... _converter
It tweaks the gcode generated with Simplify3d and strips the headers to work with XYZWare. I used the default Da Vinci 1.0 profile in Simplify3d and loaded the dummy firmware included with the github project, then tweaked it using settings from XYZWare.
I had to tweak the retraction up to 7mm and the flow to 0.95 with PLA but it has been working out great. I have been printing at 45mm/sec.

The program is Windows only.m4dunlop wrote:do this work with windows?
There is a discussion on Thingiverse with a working profile here: http://www.thingiverse.com/groups/da-vinci/topic:5390. If you can get that working then you don't need the Windows program on github.
