I'm searching for an option of only activating layer cooling for the perimeter lines, so that the infill is not cooled and therefore should maintain best possible layer adhesion.

Is this possible in S3D?

Start with a PLA profile. Set the printing speed for al actions the same. 25mm/sec is a good starting point. retraction at zero. Use a skirt to get the flex flowing. 3 lines must be enough.
