I read your extrusion width should be a multiple of your nozzle diameter.
Try changing your extrusion width to 0.5mm and see if that fixes the problem.
Well I have'nt looked at the gcode, I wouldn't know what I was looking at. But I've tried printing and it definitely is not going at 50%, it looks the same speed as full speed. But I did find this: https://forum.simplify3d.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4011&hilit=first+layer+speed&start=10 Cou...
Okay, but at 50% speed it should have a bigger change in colour. And in all honesty, it looks like its printing just as fast as the upper layers. When I print with a raft, it is ALOT slower. I'd rather not use a raft if I could. Especially on large prints to save filament, and sometimes they are a pain to remove. The finish on that surface isnt great either.
I have just tried printing with both a Skirt and a Raft on the same model and it has again ignored the first layer speed setting.
I went back and unchecked the skirt option, and now its printing at the slower speed.
I don't think its a Negative Z setting as low speed works on prints with a raft. And am not working with multiple profiles.
Should I uninstall and reinstall the software?
Or maybe theres an option I need to change?
