Raft Height Ridiculous Ruining Everything

I use a Creality CR-10 with a .8mm nozzle.

When generating a RAFT, it starts at 2.2mm high up, printing in air for the first layer. if I reduce it to 1% for "first layer height" it still starts printing at 1.2mm high in the sky.

Due to this, I can't get the damn thing to stick at all.

How do I fix this?

There is no setting to adjust this so it just prints normally, at a normal layer height for the raft. I don't want to print 1mm in the sky, I want to print against the bed.

Sounds like you might need to check your Z-endstop or leveling probe

Is the Z-offset set correctly? On my Prusa clone, I navigated to CONTROL>MOTION>Z OFFSET and continually adjusted the value, in conjunction with a 0.2mm feeler-gauge, until the extuder homed to the proper height for bed adhesion. Raising the value will move the nozzle downward. Be sure to store/save the value. I have to select BED LEVELING TEST to take the actual measurement prior to making an adjustment.
