Re: Part being filled in

FWIW, I do not believe it is a specific file issue. If it is a program setting, I surely can't locate it.

ANY .STL file I open with the new version shows it without infill.

How do I get a refund for the update I purchased?

Or even better, how about some help with a solution to the problem I am having?

3dbybrunolopes posted a solution to your problem in his video. Try rotating the model in the Z axis a slight amount.
Another workaround would be to just set zero top layers, zero bottom layers, and zero infill.

Re: Part being filled in

Rotated in Z a couple of degrees in both directions, multiple times.
Top and bottom layers set to 0
Infill set to 0 (not sure why this was recommended)

same results, obviously this "work around" did not work. How about a solution from the software guys?

Re: Part being filled in

Please post factory file or STL file at very least. If the factory file is to big to upload. Try to compress it.
Have not have anything like this before even in V5.
If I do get something like this I may run it thru Fussion360 to see if there is anything obscure about the STL.
Did you make the STL if so what software did you export it from?

Re: Part being filled in

I have posted the file and others a couple of times. I will do so again. All files in question were created by F360.

Factory file was posted as well at one point.

I have uploaded a ZIP file of the .STL, F360 source file and the S3D Factory file.

As I have said before this issue happens with all files I have, yet teh build correctly in version 4.

Re: Part being filled in

I got a response from support:

" In this file, Single outline Corkscrew printing mode (vase mode) is checked, causing infill to be disabled. "

Unchecking that (not sure why it was checked) cure the issue, I will need to look deeper when I get home and can be at the PC.

Re: Part being filled in

Yes cork screw is one.
and many more. have no outlines perimeters. no infill no top layers. your extrusion multiplier is really high for some reason is set at 1.40 right now.

posted your factory file with a few changes.
also set the extrusion multiplier to 1.00
every thing appears to slice fine. Happy printing!

Re: Part being filled in

I just tested each of the factory files in this thread with our latest Version 5.0.1 update, and all of them now slice correctly! Please update to the latest version and the problem should be resolved.

Thank you for your help reporting the issue!
